This week, luxury retailer Saks Global announced its plan to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. According to reports, no deal is in place yet. The company also discussed a $1.25 billion debtor-in-possession financing package with creditors.

L’Oreal announced that it will be expanding its facilities in New York with an Innovation Hub and Academy. This facility will be located next to its offices at Hudson Yards. This facility will serve as a place for content production, training facilities, and a tech center for testing new launches.

Reports have been circling about Estee Lauder Companies mulling the sale of Smashbox, Too Faced, and Dr. Jart+. Although nothing is concrete, ELC is rumored to be mulling the sale of the brands in an alleged package deal.

E.l.f. Cosmetics has partnered with beverage platform Liquid Death for a second time to launch the limited-edition “e.l.f. x Liquid Death Lip Embalms.” These Lip Embalms are gloss replicas of Liquid Death’s soda-flavored sparkling water.
